These terms govern the use of our live streaming platform for digital events and webcasts. By using the service, you agree to the following provisions.
1. Subject of the Service
StreamLive provides a technical infrastructure for transmitting live video content (webcasts) and conducting digital events. The service includes the provision of streaming servers, player technology, and optional interaction modules such as live chat and surveys. The specific services depend on the respective booked tariff. StreamLive is not a broadcasting service and does not replace a separate broadcasting license, if such a license is required.
2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for all content you broadcast via the platform. This includes ensuring that the content does not violate applicable law, infringe on third-party rights, or contain misleading or fraudulent information. In particular, the dissemination of malware, hacking tools, instructions for illegal activities, as well as content promoting gambling, cryptocurrency fraud, or guaranteed profit promises is prohibited. We reserve the right to block content and revoke access without prior notice.
3. Rights and Obligations of StreamLive
We operate the platform according to the state of the art and guarantee an availability of at least 99.5% on a monthly average, excluding planned maintenance windows and force majeure. StreamLive does not actively monitor content but responds to illegal reports according to the "Notice and Take Down" principle. We are liable only for intent and gross negligence; liability for slight negligence is limited to the foreseeable damage resulting from the breach of essential contractual obligations.
4. Term, Termination, and Changes
The contract for the use of StreamLive is for an indefinite period and can be terminated by either party with 14 days' notice to the end of the month. In the event of serious violations of these terms, we are entitled to terminate without notice. We may change these terms at any time with a notice period of 30 days; if you do not object within this period, the new terms are deemed accepted. Material changes will be communicated to you by email.
5. Disclaimer and Severability Clause
StreamLive assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party content transmitted via the platform. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a regulation that comes closest to the economic purpose. All disputes arising from this contract are subject to the laws of the Republic of Austria; the place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
6. Contact for Legal Inquiries
For questions about these terms or legal complaints, please contact: StreamLive, Deutschstraße 1, Email: info@digitalwebcasting.com. We strive to respond to inquiries within five business days.
